We all search for answers to the questions…
“What is my purpose in life? Am I fulfilling my purpose? Is there something I should be doing that I’m not doing? If I were fulfilling my purpose, wouldn’t I be happy?” Gandhi calls the Bhagavad Gita his mother and spiritual reference book. Gandhi and other spiritual masters offer to us that the Gita is best understood through its symbolism rather than a literal perspective.
We will explore the Bhagavad Gita through the lens of its symbolic messages and look at possible answers to these questions about purpose and meaning in life.
We will use the book “Bhagavad Gita: A New Translation” by Stephen Mitchell. You do not need to have read the entire book to benefit from this workshop. Snacks and drinks provided.
